Delete your account.

You can request deletion of your One Word Now account and associated data even if you have already uninstalled the app.

Inside the app

Open Profile → Delete my account. Sign in again if asked, check the permanent-deletion confirmation, then choose Permanently delete my account. Recent sign-in protects this action. If the request cannot complete, use the email path above.

What is deleted

Your Firebase sign-in, profile, stored answer submissions and attempts, weekly and all-time leaderboard entries, entitlements and user-linked billing audit data in our database are removed. After confirmed success in the app, this account’s learning history on the current device is cleared. Deletion is permanent and your progress cannot be restored.

What needs a separate action

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a Google Play or App Store subscription. Manage it in your store’s subscriptions settings. Stores retain their own transaction history under their obligations. Local copies on other devices cannot be remotely erased; remove those separately if needed. An early-access email signup is separate; you can request its removal in the same email.

Limited information that may remain

A hash derived from the former account ID and the deletion timestamp remain as a pseudonymous guard to prevent stale sign-in tokens or delayed subscription events from recreating the account. It contains no name or email. The flow also requests erasure of your RevenueCat customer record. RevenueCat accepts that request before Firebase sign-in is deleted and may finish processing it asynchronously. Stores separately retain legally required transaction records.

Timing

The in-app flow confirms when server deletion has completed. For an email request, we verify identity and confirm its handling; we aim to respond within 30 days and explain any extension or legally necessary retention.
